Throughout the day, prices for oil and gas can fluctuate wildly until a firm price for tomorrow occurs, which we post by 4:45 pm each weeknight. As a new feature, this site will attempt to give you a hint as to the direction the price is headed at 4:45 pm.

Check every hour as a hedge before the price settles - it is a safe bet that the trend indicator will get it right.

Price History

Over the course of the last year, we have been tracking the daily gas prices in an effort to inform motorists what they were paying on the same day, one year ago. You'll notice a few cities have no historical data - this is because those cities were added in 2010. We will continue to track the daily gas prices and will be sure to include enhanced statistatical breakdowns, and trends, over time.
